Detailed pages
Every detailed service page, grouped by job type
These sit lower down on purpose. Start with the main cards above if you are still deciding by outcome rather than job label, then use the grouped cards below when you already know the specific page you need.
For work that needs electrical inspection, testing, certification or notification, we arrange the appropriate registered professional and confirm responsibilities before work starts.
Not sure which page fits yet? Read the guide library first, or start with how small-job pricing works and what a failed light or switch usually means . Every guide links the service page that covers the work.
Electrical pages
Use these when the electrical job type is already clear: repairs, faults, small jobs, lighting,
accessories, EICR or consumer-unit questions.
Electrical fault finding
Recurring trips, dead points and awkward symptoms checked before parts are guessed.
Electrical repairs
Local repairs for accessories, fans, fused spurs and contained one-off faults.
Lighting installation
Pendant swaps, downlight replacements, dimmer fixes and room-by-room lighting updates.
Outdoor lighting
Entrance, path and sensor-controlled outside lighting where the real question is after-dark use.
Sockets and switches
Socket, switch, isolator and accessory upgrades or replacements on existing circuits.
Kitchen rewire
Kitchen electrical work guided by the layout, appliances, lighting, first fix, second fix and handover.
Emergency electrician
Burning smells, hot accessories, repeat trips or sudden power loss. Emergency call-outs are subject to availability and are not guaranteed. Call first so we can check whether we can attend. If attendance is available, the call-out fee is from £110 during standard hours, Monday to Saturday 08:00–18:00, or from £150 out of hours. This covers urgent dispatch, travel and attendance only. On-site assessment and work are then charged at £65 an hour in 30-minute blocks of £32.50.
Smart-home pages
Use these for smart-home upgrades around heating, lighting, entry, cameras and connected control.
Smart thermostat installation
Nest, Hive and similar thermostat installs with compatibility checks, schedules and handover.
Video doorbell wiring
Wired doorbell page with mounting, transformer checks, alerts and clearer entrance views.
CCTV installation
Camera coverage, power, app setup and alert tuning for one or two useful views.
Entry systems
Panels, releases and small shared-entrance access jobs where the system matters more than one device.
Intercoms
Resident-point, handset or monitor replacement and clearer call and release behaviour.
Home automation planning
Compatibility, platform choice and longer-term smart-home structure before you buy more kit.
Smart energy and greener homes
Use this readiness-first overview to compare practical controls, future provisions and the first questions to ask.
Easier-living pages
Use these when the goal is subtle accessibility support around mobility, reach, memory load,
family/carer support or shared use.
Accessible living
A practical starting point for lighting, access and controls that can make everyday use simpler.
Easier heating control
Heating-control help for awkward thermostats, unclear schedules or quick changes that take too many steps.
Night-time lighting routines
Calmer after-dark changes for hallways, bathrooms, bedrooms, entrances and stairs.
Shared access for carers and family
Respectful shared access, clearer ownership and practical alerts for support needs at home.
Voice and simple routines
Voice, buttons and simple routines where they remove repeated effort without adding confusion.
Testing and compliance
Use these when inspection, board scope, certification or registered electrical delivery is the real
requirement.
