How fit is checked before booking

Use the areas page as a first guide, then send your postcode, a short note and 2–4 clear photos of the area, accessory, consumer unit, thermostat, door station, app screen or existing wiring. David checks local fit, likely access, job type, product compatibility and whether the sensible next step is David-led work, fault finding first, a written quote or work that needs registered electricians. EICRs, consumer units, notifiable work, certification-led jobs and larger scopes are explained before anything is booked.

Public pages, private enquiries

Reviews, published project photos and approved page examples show the finish style, communication and handover customers can expect. Photos sent for a private enquiry are used only to understand the job. They are not published on the website unless separately approved, captioned and privacy checked.

When registered electricians are needed

Most small electrical jobs, smart-home setup and automation handover stay with David where the scope is suitable. I’m not personally registered with a competent person scheme, so I do not self-certify notifiable domestic work.

If a job needs notification or certification, registered electricians working with me handle that part of the work so you know who is doing what before anything is arranged.

Want a straight answer on fit before you book?

Send your postcode, a short note and a few clear photos. I’ll tell you whether the job looks like direct David-led work, fault finding first, a written quote or work that needs registered electricians, notification or certification.
